Program now supports image-frames in tags. You can add a many images as you want and catagorize them with the standard defined imagetypes like Cover (front), Cover (back) ++. You can also add your own description to each image. The image can be located inside the mp3-file (which naturaly will increase the filesize) or can be saved as a link to a file on a computer or a imagefile on the internet.

Program now creates a fake CDDB discID. There is no longer need for the original CD to get album track information

Includes Copy and paste functions for copying id3-tags from one or more files to others. If you copy more than one id3-tag, the copied id3-tags will be pasted in the same order as they where copied, so the first copied id3-tag will the first file and the second copied id3-tag will be pasted to the second file and so on. If you only copy one id3-tag, this id3-tag will be copied to all the files to past it into.

MPTagger now also works with computers which are connected to the internet via a proxy server. Even if you're using a dial-up connection you can specify a valid proxy-server to speed up the downloading processes

With the new version you are now able specify phrases to be replaced when either guessing or renaming. Ex. if you would like all { } to be replaced with ( ) you simply add them to the list in the option dialog.

MPTagger has now CDDB
support, which means you can insert a cd in your cd-rom drive and with a single
click collect infomation about the cd's artistname, albumname and the
individual tracknames and then easily write the information to your
mp3-files

The
new Explorer-like Filemanager provides a more userfriendly interface for those
who are used to Window Exporer and lets you access folders like Network
Neightbourhood and My Documents. The Filemanager also updates automatically
when changes are made to the file-hierarchy outside the program. It also
provides a right-click popup-menu when clicking on the folder- or file-list,
just like Explorer

Recursive id3-tagging when
selecting a directory means that MPTagger includes all files in the specific
directory and all files in all subdirectories when performing the operation you
choose

a shell extension to your windows explorer, which means you can execute the
most common tasks of MPTagger from your file manager

the whole path for the mp3s new location and MPTagger will move the files to
this location (even creates nonexisting directories)
