1.60
R E L E A S E D
FEB.23.00
  • Program now supports image-frames in tags. You can add a many images as you want and catagorize them with the standard defined imagetypes like Cover (front), Cover (back) ++. You can also add your own description to each image. The image can be located inside the mp3-file (which naturaly will increase the filesize) or can be saved as a link to a file on a computer or a imagefile on the internet.

  • Program now creates a fake CDDB discID. There is no longer need for the original CD to get album track information

  • Includes Copy and paste functions for copying id3-tags from one or more files to others. If you copy more than one id3-tag, the copied id3-tags will be pasted in the same order as they where copied, so the first copied id3-tag will the first file and the second copied id3-tag will be pasted to the second file and so on. If you only copy one id3-tag, this id3-tag will be copied to all the files to past it into.

  • Detail-view in the Explorer-like filemanager showing id3-tag and other mp3-info for all files simultaneously

  • A wildcard tag ( #WC# - to flush phrases :) when specifying formats

  • Automatic save id3-tag function (you no longer have to press the "Save ID3-tag" button)

  • Unlimited Undo function when working inside MPTagger

  • Program now shows a progressbar while executing long-term commands

  • New shortcut-keys is assigned for the most common commands when working in the MPTagger layout

  • MPTagger now remembers the recently typed formats and makes a suggestion as you type (Like URL-typing in Internet Explorer - Called AutoComplete)

  • Program now supports VBR (variable bitrate) files. Read more about this in the FAQ

  • MPTagger now also works with computers which are connected to the internet via a proxy server. Even if you're using a dial-up connection you can specify a valid proxy-server to speed up the downloading processes

  • With the new version you are now able specify phrases to be replaced when either guessing or renaming. Ex. if you would like all { } to be replaced with ( ) you simply add them to the list in the option dialog.

  • Recursive id3-tagging when selecting a directory means that MPTagger includes all files in the specific directory and all files in all subdirectories when performing the operation you choose
